Potsdam was my last hurrah in Berlin.  Knowing my love of gardens and flowers, it was highly recommended by Phil.  I can only imagine that it would be spectacular in summer when the terraces at Palace San Soucci are full of figs and cascading down the terraces but catching the beautiful spring flowers everywhere was a treat.

It was a fascinating tour, though the plethora of unnecessary palaces and showy wealth to sooth the ego of the royal family is a little gross. Here are a few pictures to give you an idea of the beautiful, if a little over the top craziness of Potsdam.
